Happy November Everyone!

Here is a new little gal - I have yet to name her - but for some reason I am thinking she looks like a Cordelia.  That name is just kind of sticking with me.

My little marionette - Merry Jane

Merry Jane was a fun little gal to work on!  I tried a few new things with her and I am pretty pleased with the way she turned out!

Three Sisters -

These little girls are headed to Houston to be a part of TAODA's gallery show - Go Figure Two at Las Manos Magicas.  This show will run from July 16th to August 13th.  The theme for this show is more toward the primitive and not "cute", which was a fun new avenue to explore for me.  Turns out - primitive is harder than I thought it would be, but these gals appeal does "grow" on you after a time!

Victorian Bathing Beauty

This is my first attempt at recreating a victorian bathing beauty.  I have been looking at photos of victorian swimwear for ideas.  I need a name for her!  What should it be?

My newest piece is done.

This is a commission piece of Mary and Jesus.  I think it turned out great!

Here is my newest doll!

This is Madison (my daughter Emily named her)  She is about 21 inches tall, her face is needle-sculpted, fabric covered, with her features drawn with colored pencil.  I used a beautiful batik fabric for her clothes.  In these pictures Madison is hanging for display, but she will also sit nicely on a pedestal.
